Midnight

I don’t know what came over me, but when Bullet was fucking me, he had my mind gone. Our sex was always good, but something about this time was different. It felt different. It felt good and spellbinding. Bullet not using a condom was a sign in itself, so I had no choice but to act on it. Yeah, it was foul that I locked him down, but something was telling me that this was my moment to get what I wanted.

My thoughts after was that he would be like oh well, we slipped up, but this nigga went the fuck off. It crushed my feelings even more with the things he said to me. I slowly turned away while he got in the shower and headed to clean myself as well in the other bathroom. When I stepped in the shower, I let the tears fall. After this moment, I couldn’t help but think that I messed up bad enough that our relationship would be strained. Bullet was huge on trust and loyalty, and I just kept fucking up.

When I finished showering, I made my way to our bedroom, and he was already in bed. Well, I guess that was good he didn’t sleep in the other room. I continued inside and started to get dressed in my nightclothes. I was trying my best to let him know that I was in his presence. Once I got my underclothes, I slammed the drawer shut and flopped on the bed. Looking back over my shoulder, I glanced at him, and he didn’t budge. After I got dressed, I slid underneath the cover and got close to him. Once I felt him grab my hand and toss that shit back, my heart broke a little more.

“Don’t touch me, Mianne. Take your wrestle mania ass to bed,” he mumbled.

Slowly I moved back to my side and picked up my phone. As I scrolled through my text messages, my heart was conflicted as I paused on Tera's name. I wanted to choke the hell out this bitch but at the same time, I wanted someone to talk to right now. Against my better judgment, I started typing.

Me: U Up?

I waited for maybe three minutes, and she texted back.

Tera: Why are you texting me? You got yo nerve.

Me: I’ve been getting your messages. You dat mad to where you want to kill me, Tera?

Tera: I’m hurt. Have you ever been left for a man?

Me: Tera, you knew that I like men and women. You knew my future plans. I could see if I was still with you, but we were not together. Let's talk face-to-face. I don’t want our friendship to end, and I feel we can have a platonic friendship.

Tera: I doubt it because I love you, but when and where?

Me: Just so you know, I will have somebody following me in case you get any crazy ideas. I will text you soon details. Goodnight.

Tera: Yeah, whatever, goodnight.

Based on the messages, I wasn’t sure how to take Tera, but long as she thought I wasn’t alone, she would try anything.
